Scope And Summary
This policy applies to ClockTools.app, its browser tools, articles, APIs, and related pages. Most tools do not require an account. Some work entirely in the browser; others must send a limited request to ClockTools or an identified external provider. ClockTools does not sell personal information and minimizes collection where practical.
Ordinary Web Requests
Hosting, delivery, and security providers can process information normally carried with an internet request, including IP address, approximate network region, request time, requested URL, browser headers, device characteristics, referrer, response status, and security signals. ClockTools currently uses Cloudflare infrastructure to deliver and protect the site.
Tool Inputs And Results
Text, dates, settings, images, code, and other inputs may remain local when a tool says processing occurs in the browser. Public website checks, domain lookups, location searches, and similar remote features must transmit the relevant hostname, coordinates, phrase, or public identifier. Do not submit secrets, private links, tokens, or confidential documents.
Storage And Permissions
ClockTools can use localStorage, sessionStorage, IndexedDB, or similar storage for themes, timers, drafts, game progress, recent results, consent choices, and saved configurations. Location, notifications, clipboard, files, audio, vibration, wake lock, and fullscreen depend on user action, browser support, and permissions that can be revoked in browser or device settings.
Analytics Choices
Non-essential analytics loads only after a visitor chooses to allow analytics through ClockTools privacy controls. Google Tag Manager may then load configured measurement tags. Visitors can choose Essential only, allow analytics, or reopen Privacy choices from the footer. Withdrawing consent stops future optional loading in that browser but cannot undo earlier transmission.
Advertising And Google
ClockTools may use Google AdSense after approval and after required consent configuration is active. Google and partners may then use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses, device identifiers, and activity information to deliver, limit, measure, protect, or personalize advertising according to region and consent. Google advertising choices are also available through My Ad Center.
EEA, UK, And Switzerland
Where required, advertising and related personalized measurement will use a Google-certified consent management platform before advertising cookies or personalized ads are used. The ClockTools analytics chooser is a separate privacy control and is not represented as a substitute for an advertising consent management platform.
Retention And Rights
Local browser data remains until the feature or browser removes it. Provider and security logs can follow operational retention periods. Visitors can clear stored data, decline permissions, use browser privacy controls, and contact [email protected] about access, correction, deletion, or restriction where applicable and technically identifiable.
